Our customers operate in some of the most challenging and demanding environments imaginable. This puts a high pressure on, and increases the requirements for, the systems that are used, and their operators.

GeoVS® designs visionary systems for professionals in the oil and gas industry so they can quickly understand more of their operating environment in order to optimise performance, which can be used both onshore and offshore, on vessels and on platforms.

Vessel and offshore platform security system operators work in extreme conditions. They must deal with many obstacles: large numbers of moving vessels on and below the sea surface, constrained in a limited physical space; extreme weather conditions; challenges of exclusion zones constraints; the demands of ROVs, AUVs and UUVs for clear vision of all moving vehicles within confined development areas.

C-Vu® Surveillance was designed to answer all those requirements. Key features of our specialised offshore software product modules include: hi-res imaging; ensuring data integrity and information immediacy to support critical decisions when time is of the essence; automated virtual flights over custom-defined paths, automatic alarms and ID for any intruders trespassing within defined safety zones;

Development/Construction Projects

Visibility conditions for ROV operations [whether as project simulations or in reality] is sometimes virtually nil. It is vital for ROV pilots that they have as high a degree of spatial situational awareness as possible.

C-Vu® Navigator ROV provides the pilot with greater spatial awareness of his world and increases his efficiency whilst reducing the overall project risk. It also allows a total fly-around capability in a fully feature-populated environment without requiring any re-positioning of the ROV.

The system provides operators with a real-time control engine, with an intuitive graphic user interface and ergonomic operator controls with advanced 3D geospatial controllers for precise direct manipulation, which displays full panoramic underwater and surface imaging.

C-Vu® Project allows the user to load external data sets as well as to drag and drop objects from extensive libraries to build a virtual undersea world containing all relevant items such as templates, pipes, cables and operating ROVs, and to combine this subsea geospace with the surface world containing vessels and platforms.

In addition, with the use of simulated or real-time external data feeds, C-Vu® Project allows for planning and optimisation of projects and operations, in a precise and ergonomic way. The product uses a unique combination of direct manipulation and constant visualisation, which exploits the efficiency and intuition of the human brain, while at the same time providing the support of powerful computational algorithms.

GeoVS® intuitive “one click” operating system works in real time, allowing the user to evaluate, change and add features prior to or during project performance, and thereby avoid expensive and time consuming project simulation rebuilds. Actual or hypothetical scenarios may be examined, which allows training and virtual operational practice on project to be achieved without the expense and risks of performing real work.

Evaluation / Presentation

C-Vu® Viewer enables logged and recorded data from C-Vu® Surveillance and C-Vu® Navigator, as well as visualisations and simulations prepared in C-Vu® Project, to be replayed as recorded or with manual intervention to examine actual or hypothetical scenarios. This is a valuable and practical tool for evaluation, analysis and training, as well as for efficient presentation of data to customers, management, team members, project stakeholders, or in litigation.
